Does teeth whitening cause sensitivity?

Sensitivity is rare in most cases with our gentle 6% hydrogen peroxide gel, however teeth whitening can cause temporary increase in sensitivity to temperature (think cold drinks), pressure and touch.

If you experience sensitivity after your whitening treatment, this should subside within 1-2 days.

We recommend using sensodyne tooth paste and our de-sensitising pen to reduce the risk of sensitivity.
